The Scaredy Cat Reading System was created by Joyce Herzog, who has taught in both the public school system and in private Christian schools, and has also worked with home educators. While teaching phonics, she discovered that many students were lost because of the numerous, confusing, hard-to-remember rules. She developed a system that is fun, logical, multisensory, easy to teach, and easy to learn!

The Story of LetterMaster (Required for all levels)
A component of the Scaredy Cat Reading System is The Story of LetterMaster, available on DVD, or as a Comic/Coloring Book w/ Audio CD. Both formats have been revised and updated, performed by experienced theatre actors. You will laugh and learn as you enjoy his story!

The LetterMaster Comic/Coloring Story Book tells a story of what might have happened on that fateful day! The audio CD, performed by LetterMaster and a company of youth theater actors, brings the comic book coloring pages to life. Listen to LetterMaster as he names the letters, assigns sounds, and puts the alphabet in order! Meet Mysteri-S, Great Pretender "Y", and all of their friends. You'll also learn about why the vowels are Scaredy Cats!
